We welcome you to a gathering where that part that cannot find a place to speak in the world can be heard; where what is good and strong and virtuous can find a home.
How often in these challenging times do you find yourself standing on a crumbling foundation of masculine identity defined very narrowly by modernity as either the non-emotional hero male or the ineffective & passive male. Both reside as shadow forms of the masculine under the limiting scope of the word “patriarchy” where there appears to be nothing desirable or redeemable for these times that men find themselves in. This word offers no clear navigational pathway of identity and belonging; the mentoring of our boys and sustainability of healthy adult relationships.
As a man where do you take your rage at wrong in a world that judges your righteous fury and where can your tenderness go to weave beauty back into life? Maybe you have been in a men’s circle for twenty years or find yourself searching for a way of belonging more fully as a man or are somewhere in between… there is a place for you amongst these ancient hills by this ancestral fire.
It has been our experience that shared vulnerability among men is the true birthing ground of authentic masculine identity, one that is centered, creative and life generative. Within a supportive community of men we invite you to join us as we awaken and activate the soul of the “initiated masculine”. Here you are offered a ground of connection, a sacred cauldron of nature, ritual and community where all stories and emotions that might be overwhelming or frightening to others can be held.
