Earth My Body ~ Water My Blood ~ Air My Breath ~ Fire My Spirit

It is our bloodlines and bone memories that flow from the lands of our ancient ancestors - those who understood well how to access the wisdom etched into the landscape through the fire of living by those who came before. Across landscapes and generations, it has consistently been the power of community and ritual, “in concert with music and song” that gave rise to the spiritual technology embedded in the stones, rivers, trees, sacred fires, “glens and mountains” of these lands.

Listen with the ears of your heart… Can you remember?

Deepen your personal relationship with the elemental ancestors in the the therapeutic practice of Death Lodge Ritual Healing

In the old stories and old ways it was understood that the power of participation in community elemental ritual and ceremony offered a way of weaving together, like braids of sweetgrass, our disconnected strands of memory, healing and belonging. It could be said that if ritual is the choreography of communication between ourselves and the Great Mystery, then the elements themselves (Fire, Water, Earth & Air) serve as the active ingredients of that medicine.

Join us for this powerful deep dive into radical elemental rituals of Fire, Water, Earth and Air. We will begin each morning with elemental teachings around the medicine wheel as a way of deepening your personal relationship and understanding of the elemental ancestors and their various uses in ritual prescriptions. In this level two training you will begin to practice the skills learned in level one and how to combine them with elemental rituals.

Together we will draw upon our own stories to gather the medicine of clarity, wisdom, healing and courage to live a more authentic and inspired life. We will be camping in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina near Asheville on rolling hills and forest next to an ancient river we call Grandmother Ivy. A welcome letter will be sent to you once you register with an equipment list and other items to bring.

From an indigenous perspective, the individual psyche can be healed only by addressing one’s relationship with the visible worlds of nature and community and one’s relationship with the invisible forces of the ancestors and spirit allies. It is in ritual that nature, community, and the spirit world come together to support the inner building of identity.
