Learning from Ancestors

There is an old Celtic proverb that speaks to the relationships rooted strongly in our psyche; and in the memories of the landscape itself... rooted to those who have come before us... our distant grandmothers and grandfathers, inviting us to draw upon the knowledge that we are born from the love of thousands that seek to guide us into becoming ancestors ourselves that our great grandchildren will be proud of.

Healing the Separation

You are not alone in the feeling that something is missing from modern life; that we have lost some ancient connection to the land and the Spirits. Among the wealth of physical comfort of the modern world we find Spiritual poverty as we have become strangers to the land that holds us. This gnawing sense of unease, that something is not right, permeates our existence leading us often to seek solace in finding stimulation through food, entertainments, drugs or sex. But really our souls are searching for home, for a sense of belonging to the world, a deep knowing that we are part of that which is greater than each of us.

Bring your camping gear and get yourself to the meeting spot - everything else is provided, including:

  • Elemental & Ancestral Ritual Process Healing

  • Construction of and Participation in Sweat Lodge Ceremony

  • Drumming, movement and poetry

  • Instruction in the Four Seasonal Shields of Initiation

  • Personal myth making and storytelling

  • Self and group generated ceremony
